JustREACH
Building just and climate-resilient

communities across Europe

About Us

The mission of the JustREACH project is to empower local and regional authorities in Europe to develop and implement climate adaptation and economic development plans successfully.
The project aims to bridge the gap between ambitious EU-level policy objectives and the practical challenges that local governments face. Its goal is to show that building resilience can also create more equal, sustainable and thriving regions across Europe.
Meet Our Pilot Sites
Across Europe, five regions are putting JustREACH into practice. Each site faces different climate challenges but shares the same goal of making adaptation fair, inclusive and effective. Together they form a network of learning and collaboration that connects local experiences with European action.
Lake Constance Region, Germany
Communities in the Lake Constance area face heat, drought and extreme weather that threaten local ecosystems and infrastructure. The project works with regional authorities and businesses to strengthen cooperation and develop solutions that support smaller municipalities and rural communities.
