This sister project supports regions and communities in the Danube area in implementing climate adaptation actions through territorial innovation and capacity building. The project focuses on translating adaptation strategies into concrete action on the ground. Exchange with TICCA4DANU supports mutual learning on place-based implementation, stakeholder engagement and the operationalisation of just and inclusive adaptation pathways, which directly aligns with JustREACH pilot activities.
JUST4CARE focuses on integrating principles of justice, equity and resilience into urban and regional climate adaptation planning. The project addresses the needs of vulnerable and marginalised groups and tests inclusive, data-driven solutions in pilot cities such as Madrid, Ankara, Budapest and Zagreb. Exchange supports reflection on equitable adaptation practices and governance approaches in urban contexts.
FairFuture addresses climate adaptation with a focus on vulnerable communities and the prevention of social inequalities. The project develops and tests inclusive adaptation measures in collaboration with local and regional authorities, national governments and community-led initiatives. Its work on resilience action labs and co-development of equitable adaptation actions provides relevant insights for JustREACH dissemination and capacity-building activities.
